Statement of Faith

We believe in the one true God, Creator of Heaven and Earth, Almighty and Everlasting, who co-exists in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. He alone is worthy of all worship, praise and adoration now and throughout all eternity.

We believe that Jesus Christ is Lord and God, the only begotten Son of the Father and is equal in nature with the Father and Holy Spirit. We believe in His Virgin Birth, His sinless life and His healings and miracles. We believe He offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sin of all persons and that His atoning death is able to save to the uttermost all who put their trust in Him. We believe that there is no other means of salvation, for He is “the way, the truth and the life,” (John 14:6) and that “there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:12).

We believe that Jesus Christ was crucified, died and was buried. We believe in His physical, bodily resurrection three days later. We believe that He appeared in His physical, resurrected form to His followers and disciples, and then ascended into Heaven as the Scriptures declare. We believe He will return in this same physical, bodily form at the end of the age, and that this return will be visible to all the earth.

We believe in the power of the Holy Spirit to bring sinners to repentance and new life in Christ Jesus. We believe in the ongoing work and ministry of the Holy Spirit in the lives of all believers. We believe this is a work of power, enabling believers to walk in holiness in every aspect of their lives as they yield themselves to His dominion.

We believe that men and women are created in the image of God, but through the original sin as recorded in Scripture, all of humanity have a fallen, sinful nature and are separated from God. It is only through saving faith in Jesus Christ that men and women can be brought into right relationship with the Lord. We believe that salvation takes place when a person confesses Jesus Christ as Lord and believes in his or her heart that God raised Him from the dead. (Rom. 10:9)

We believe that God is “compassionate and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in loving kindness and truth” (Ex. 34:6), longing for all to come to a saving knowledge of Him. We believe that He delights in our prayers and seeks an intimate relationship with each person individually.

We believe in the universal church, the world-wide Body of Believers, which is the body of Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit. We believe this universal church transcends denomination, race, and other man-made divisions, for “all are one in Christ Jesus” (Gal. 3:28). We believe that this community of faith also transcends time and eternity, so that we are in union with the saints who have gone before and those who will come after us.

We believe in proclaiming the Good News of Jesus Christ that salvation is offered freely to all through His atoning death and resurrection. We believe that He calls His followers to walk in obedience to His commands and that we are to teach His Word to others.
